To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

MoldyRiceFrenzy Wilds Pathfinder Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Guild: Confusion in The Ranks[tArD] Profession: Mo/W	Friends Finding There should be a way to make it so that its easier to find friends that changed there name, then deleted there old char. some mean person somehow got promoted to guild officer and went on a member kicking spree = half our members are missing.i got 1 of em back, but many of em deleted there char for some weird reasons and made new ones, thus i cant whisper to them if i try to put them on f list to find them later , itll say character name does not exhist.since this happens it pretty much means im screwed and cant get them back unless they make a replica character name which none of em have yet. so id like to be able to put somones old name within a day or so and check to c if hes on, this way i wont loose the people for ever.
